About Discovered
Direct answers about what Discovered is, who lists here, and how it works.
What is Discovered?
Discovered is a directory of tools, courses, coaching, and services built by independent creators — organized by who they help (small business owners, landlords, parents, students, and more) instead of by tech category. It exists so people searching for a real-life solution can find what real people built for that exact situation, not generic top-10 lists.
How do I list my tool, course, or coaching service?
Create a free creator account, then paste the URL of your live tool, course sales page, or booking link. Discovered auto-fills the title, description, and preview image from your page so listing takes a couple of minutes. You can list as many things as you want on your profile.
Is it free to list on Discovered?
Yes — creating a profile and listing anything on it is free. Your listings live permanently on your profile page at discovered.store/@yourhandle and are publicly shareable. A paid plan ($19/month) adds your listings to the public discovery feed so people browsing the directory can find them.
How does Discovered decide what's featured or highly ranked?
Featured placement is based on a mix of community ratings, like counts, recency of updates, and editorial review. There is no pay-to-rank — paying for the discovery feed only makes a listing eligible to appear. The ranking favors listings that are well-described, actively maintained, and useful to real people in a specific situation.
Is Discovered open to AI tools, courses, coaching, and other digital services — not just apps?
Yes. Discovered accepts free tools, paid courses, coaching offers, digital downloads, productized services, and anything else a creator wants to share with a clear audience. Each listing has a type (tool, course, coaching, service, other) so visitors see the right call-to-action — Try it, Enroll, Book a call, or Learn more.
Who is Discovered for?
Discovered is for two audiences. Visitors are people looking for a tool, course, coach, or service that solves a specific real-life problem — like screening a tenant, planning a wedding, studying for an exam, or running a small business. Creators are independent makers, coaches, instructors, and freelancers who want a permanent home for their work and a way to be found by the people they're built for.
