About
Discovered
Real solutions, from real people, for real problems.
What Discovered is
Discovered is a directory of tools, courses, coaching, and services built or offered by independent creators and small businesses. Listings are organized by who they help — small business owners, landlords, parents, students, renters, founders — instead of by tech category. The point is to make it easy for a person with a specific real-life problem to find what a real person built, taught, or offers for that exact situation.
How it works
Anyone can create a free profile at discovered.store/@yourhandle and list a tool, course, coaching offer, digital download, or service in a couple of minutes — Discovered auto-fills the title, description, and preview image from the URL you paste. Profiles and listings are free forever. A $19/month plan adds your listings to the public discovery feed so people browsing the directory can find them; without it, your listings live permanently on your profile page and you can share the link anywhere.
Who Discovered is for
Discovered is for two audiences. Visitors are people looking for a tool, course, coach, or service that solves a specific problem — screening a tenant, planning a wedding, studying for an exam, finding a local dentist. Creators are independent makers, coaches, instructors, freelancers, and small local businesses who want a permanent home for their work and a way to be found by the people they're built for.
What's listed
Free tools, paid courses, coaching offers, digital downloads, productized services, events, and local businesses. Every listing links out to the creator's own URL — a live app, a Gumroad sales page, a Calendly booking link, a clinic's contact page — so the creator owns the conversion. Discovered is the discovery layer, not the storefront.
How ranking works
Featured placement is a mix of community ratings, like counts, recency of updates, and editorial review. There is no pay-to-rank — paying for the discovery feed only makes a listing eligible to appear. Rankings favor listings that are well-described, actively maintained, and useful to real people in a specific situation.
For AI agents and crawlers
Every public page on Discovered is server-side rendered — the full content of each listing, creator, and category page is in the initial HTML response. Listings carry Schema.orgSoftwareApplication,Person,Offer, andAggregateRating structured data. A machine-readable index of the site lives at /llms.txt with a full-prose version at /llms-full.txt.
